Sapporo Underground Shopping Malls – Aurora Town & Pole Town

Two unique underground shopping streets
A shopping mall that extends in all directions

This shopping center originates at the Odori Station on the Namboku and Tozai Line with “Aurora Town” extending to the east and “Pole Town” extending to the south. Aurora Town is 312m in length, and includes the event space “Aurora Plaza “ and an open space called “Aurora Square”. Aurora Town is a spacious area that puts visitors at ease. At the “Otori (Small Bird) Plaza”, you can see the adorable shell grass parakeets. The multi-vision video projector HILOSHI, located in “Pole Square” in the front of the ticket gate of Odori Station, is a popular meeting place for young people. It is front this point that the 400m-long Pole Town begins and it end at the Susukino Staion on the Namboku Line. There are a variety of shops in this Town and is always populated by people.
