A Landmark of Hokkaido Looming in the Evening Light
American neo-Baroque construction built in 1888. At night, the massive red brick building is lit up and stands out against the dark. During winter, the illumination event is held at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza (AKAPLA) in front of Former Hokkaido Government Office Building (Red Brick Office), which makes the building appear even more impressive.
