Yuki Akari in Nakajima Park

Created by the neighborhood community and local businesses, the Yuki Akari winter event is a traditional fixture at Nakajima Park. The snowy landscape is dotted with flickering snow candles, gently creating a dream-like atmosphere. This year’s event will be held at a reduced scale in Kujyo Square. A snow playground and outdoor theatre will be there for children to enjoy, food trucks serving some good eats, and a “hot station” on the first floor of the Nakajima Children’s Community Center for visitors to warm up in. Held from February 11th (Saturday/holiday) to the 12th (Sunday), be sure to check out the other events held around the park that coincide with the Yuki Akari as well.
