North Snow Land in Chitose
A wide-open area of fun in the snow!
North Snow Land, located in Chitose, is about an hour’s drive away from Sapporo. From early January to early March every year, the summer golf course is covered in snow, making it perfect for tube sliding, cross-country skiing, and mini snowmobiling.
Tube sliding for the whole family!
The “Tube Slider” is a 4-meter-high hill made of snow, where adults and children alike can enjoy sledding down on tubes!
Mini snowmobiles are like go-karts in the snow!
The mini snowmobiles, which visitors can drive by themselves, are a fast and fun way to cruise over the field!
Feel the rush of racing over the snow in an ATV!
ATV, or all-terrain vehicles, give riders a rush of power and speed! The minimum age for driving on is 12 years old, and full helmets are available for rent on site.
Experience the excitement of snow rafting!
Sit down in a rubber raft and enjoy the ride! As the snowmobile pulling up front begins to speed up, riders will feel the G-forces pulling from side-to-side, so hold on tight!
Take in the snowy scene while cross-country skiing.
Popular with both adults and children as young as 3 years old, cross-country skiing lets visitors enjoy exploring the vast snowy field and crisp Hokkaido air together!
