Curling Experience

Experience the popular ice sport of curling!

The Hokkaido Bank Curling Stadium in Toyohira Ward, Sapporo, allows visitors to experience the growing popularity of the sport. All you need is to bring yourself, since all the equipment can be rented at this internationally recognized facility.

Start off the experience with a basic lesson.

Instructors will teach you everything there is to know, from the rules and getting used to the ice surface, to practicing how to handle the curling stones.

Feel like a pro shouting, “Sweep!!” to your teammates!

Sweeping the ice creates friction and heat, causing the surface to slightly melt, which adjusts the speed and direction of the curling stones.

After practice is over, have some fun going up against your friends!

Let’s start the game! Originally, a match requires 4 players per team, but as long as there are at least 2 players, that is enough to have some fun. Guests can choose between 60-minute or 120-minute plans.
