Lake Shikotsu, located near Chitose City, is about 1 hour drive from Sapporo and 40 minutes away by car from the New Chitose Airport. It has been voted to have the highest water clarity in Japan for 10 years straight! Look through the transparent kayak, deep down into the crystal-clear azure depths of this stunning lake. The kayak is very stable, so even beginners can enjoy them!
A dry suit will keep you warm, even in the winter! And after a quick lesson from the guide, beginners will have no problem enjoying the magnificent views from the lake.
Tours start from the Chitose River.
The tour starts from the beautiful Chitose River, glistening in the sunlight. On the transparent stand-up paddleboard, you can even get a glimpse of underwater creatures!
